Hair!
I have decided to twist my hair. I thought it should take about six hours to do, but no it is taking me about ten! Urggh I cant believe I have been working on my hair this long. I cant stop because that would mean half of my head is done and the other isnt.
Anyhow, I am off to Chicago for the summer. I just got a position working for a nonprofit company that caters to international students. Essentially these student are brought from another country here to improve their English. They are usually here between three to seven weeks and they stay on a college campus throughout their time in the U.S. I am supposed to to be like a tour guide/ Residence Advisor. I also have to plan fun activities for the students to particpate in. I am pretty excited about this position. Yeah!!!

Black women go threw a lot for bueaty. I cut my hair off so i can grow dreds one day. Im so afraid to do that. how would the professinal world look @ me. why do afros and dres scare white america? than i remebered what a friend of mine (who happens to be an ole skool rasta.) told me "when they see afrosentric hair it makes older whites think about the past. they think were angry rebles." and i understood.but anyway good luck on doing your hair.
Girl! 10 hours?? What kind of twist were you trying to do to your hair??? Are you wearing it natural now or something? Were you adding extensions? Anyway. I've called you like you say I don't do so give me a call when you get a chance. Hope all is well. :)
but it came out really nice and you can tell you put a lot of work into. JLH :)
